    1. It's good for a hundred plus. Guaranteed.

    2. Why?
Most of the Russki shit we get over here in cans is more than 30 years old and in pristine condition.

    3. The Russian stuff is the good stuff. And it's been in that can likely for 60 plus years.

  2. That actually happened to me when I was cleaning in the basement. 2 spam cans of 7.62x39 from nearly 20 years ago. And a case of 7.62x54R.... It was a good investment. Lots cheaper then......

  4. Yep. Found a case of JHP 45ACP, and a case of 12ga/00buck. Made cleaning the garage a happy moment...

  5. I found a Mosin in cosmoline and a case with 2 spam cans berried in the clutter in the basement. There was also a five gallon bucket of mixed spent brass. This was about 2 years ago

  6. I found an unopened battle pack of 1200 7.62x39 123gr in the garage last month. I haven't had a SKS or AK since 2007-ish.

    1. Might as well get one. With practice, sks stripper clips are faster than AK mag swaps, and the sks is a better fire arm ( a milled one, not a stamped and welded one). That extra 4 inches of barrel and sight distance is performance enhancing.

  7. You can make a lot of spam with that can

  8. All my 7.62 is accounted for, both foreign and domestic. That said, something tripped (what's left of) my memory that something was missing. Found it, shoved to the back under the bottom shelf of my workbench. 50 cal ammo can full of CCI 50 round boxes of 45 ACP 230 gr ball.

  9. my dad passed about 15 years ago. we were cleaning out the garage last fall and in a corner, under a workbench, there was a 20mm ammo can..my dad used them for everything, so it wasn't unexpected.

it was full to the top with .30-06 black tip AP, in garand clips and bandoliers.

    thanks, dad!

  11. I ended up with a couple of the wooden cases of sealed 7.62 X 39 Russian hollowpoints and it does really well in my SKS paratrooper carbine. I have the most fun with the crates because they say "Made In Russia" on them. Anytime there is a libtard around I point at them and say "look at all the ammo the Ruskies gave me for voting for Trump". The meltdowns are endlessly hilarious.

  12. After shooting the older spam can ammo, just be sure to first run some patches & swabs through the chamber and barrel with Windex, THEN use the usual oils.
The older Russkie ammo usually has a corrosive mercury primer.
And many of the older Russie milsurp guns don't have chrome lined chambers and barrels.
