Seemed that a large proportion of the audience were young black women. They do have a better sense of humor and lack of sympathy for queers than white women.
Hardly anyone in today's society can take a joke. Apparently for most people it's easier to be offended than laugh. Can you imagine the comedians of years gone by, such as Rickles, Pryor, Carlin, Foxx, Wilson (my god the man made jokes about trannies!), trying to make a living today with the material they used then?
Add Screamin' Sam Kennison to that list. Remember his solution to starvation in Africa, at the time? LIVE WHERE THE FOOD IS(I capped it all because Sam screamed that into the mic.)
