Education has sure been dumb down as this person does not know how to spell LION. My wife ran into stupid at a grocery store when she asked where was the "produce" and the employee did not understand what she was talking about.
Several people commented that the problem is the education system. I don't think so. You could keep that girl in school the rest of her life and she wouldn't get any smarter.
See, the problem with stupid people is they're simply too stupid to know they're stupid. We should all consider it a civic duty to inform them.... "The more you know" and all that horseshit.
I doubt she'd know a country from a county and she'd just migrate from Prince Georges County to Howard County (Ho Co) or Baltimore County. Wherever she ends up in that mix, she's still in the Third World but doesn't know why. She'll find out what bush meat is soon enough because the people that run those counties are the same ones that run this country and they've just about finished spending all of our money for the next several generations. Blame the system, not the teachers in most cases. I know many teachers. Their hands are tied, they have no choice and are told to lower standards and pass them. Too much pressure from school boards and administrators. No discipline, no accountability, everyone gets a trophy! Many teachers are leaving the profession.
