Leigh from NY cooked up a feast of a supper Friday night!
Bacon Wrapped/Cherry Wood smoked Pheasant with Rice Pilaf, garden salad, washed down with ample amounts of Hazy Hug Beer. He said, "life is good". It looks to be. I know this meal was enjoyed by all who partook.
I'd eat that !!!!
ReplyDeleteI have never tasted a bad pheasant yet. maybe a shot or two in one. but they always tasted good.

and bacon always make a good meal better too
As one comedian has noted: how do they make filet mignon better? They wrap it in BACON!!!

ReplyDeleteIsn't that what Phil called "What Ford Owner's Eat"? Yep, never had a bad pheasant, either. I used to LOVE pheasant hunting with my Dad and Uncles. Just sumthin' about being out in the field all day with the dogs, a home-packed sack lunch, and some of my Uncle Donald's special "coffee". Yep, life was good back then for this 10 year old kid.....
