Gal with the bow has the arrow on the wrong side of the bow, common mistake with almost all cosplay and animated images. People who've never shot archery don't understand. Plus the string arc under tension is wrong. Yes, I noticed her breasts too.
Don, I noticed all of those same things, including those magnificent breasts. I think the reason cosplay drawings depict the arrow on the wrong side is because it's easier to draw it that way. The slack bowstring is definitely way wrong. Otherwise, kudos to the artist for a magnificent fantasy.
Arrow could historically be on either side of the bow depending upon the archery culture being discussed. The bow string is more like a clothesline cord than a bow string
Yes, but the grip on the hand pulling the string would be different. I've tried both ways. The Mongols and such would pull the string back with their thumbs and the arrow rest would be on the "wrong" side of the bow. She's using the traditional English style three-finger pull. And I've being way too critical, but there it is.
4%? That much? Rather optimistic, don't you think?

No, it's not 4%, it's 2.3% according to the CDC.

DeleteThey could be right on their percentages, but I will never trust them again on anything.
Re gal with bow, not the gif. How did her descendants get to be so cold sensitive (like anything below 86F)?
