Before I'm gone, I'm building a real-life Splittin' Image, no matter what. https://i.imgur.com/303sf1z.jpg
And when I do, I'm driving it over to El Segundo for a pic in front of the Mattel corporate HQ. I may even let the current CEO sit in it for a pic, if they ask nice.
Wow! A nice little trip down memory lane! Thanks, Irish! I never liked Hot Wheels, looked cheap, I was an Matchbox aficionado. I liked my cars and trucks authentic looking and I had both small and the big size collection. Wish I still had it as well as the carrying cases, the building props. I had everything Matchbox put out.
Never put Major Matt Mason in the strange change machine. I never could get the critters to turn back into a perfect square. There was always a hand or tentacle sticking out.
Pretty awesome!!! My Schwinn Stingray with a non gender specific, no, wait a minute, gender fluid, no sorry, Sissy Bar was my pride and joy! And the best part...................I survived LAWN DARTS!!!! Merry Christmas to all you!!!!
I swear I had about one out of three of these. My sister had the troll dolls, but I had the spirograph, the cap gun, army men, GI Joe, hula hoop, Jarts (instead of lawn darts) the Mego Star Trek dolls (action figures!) etc. Wonderful trip down memory lane reliving my childhood. Now, if he'd only included a Wham-O Air Blaster, it would have been complete!
"Forgot"??

The cats were terrorized by three boys and "Hot Wheels" zooming around.
