There wasn't a lot of "swimsuit" (especially bikini photos since they had not yet gained popularity) of Rita and the models from the WW2 era. Also, even the retouched photos are grainier and darker than the more modern photographs. The thing I notice is the absence of tattoos and piercings. If that is some guys or gals "thing", then more power to you. It is not mine.
Me and the wifey were talking about women heavy on tats and piercings the other day and, ya, not our thing either. I just can't see it aging well. Anyways, Rita certainly was a "babe" back in the day for sure. Especially that last autographed photo. Bear Claw Chris Lapp, is that one of your prize posessions? Ohio Guy
You are welcome BCCL. I am on the mend now, but it was rough the first part of the week (Georgia screamers, weak as a popcorn fart, no energy, etc. and I slept a lot). This stomach virus is going around in our neck of the woods. My son, daughter, and son-in-law all had it, but all are doing better now.

Recognized her instantly even though she is of my mother's generation. Must have been all the old movies my parents watched on the B&W TV set. Definitely a classy dame.

Women could be classy and still be incredibly sexy back in the day. Now, it seems if they try to be sexy they just go for the sleaze factor.
