Been listening to Porcupine Tree & Steven Wilson for years. I love just about everything he's done, but I always thought his best stuff was PT's first 4 or 5 albums. If you like PT & Steven you should give Blackfield a try. It's a collaboration between Steven and Aviv Geffen, an Israeli musician and singer. They have done 5 albums so far.

And I agree about Porcupine Tree being the best band nobody heard of. Steven also collaborated with Mikael Åkerfeldt on 3 of Opeth's albums - Blackwater Park, Deliverance and Damnation. Mikael was starting to get away from the death metal growl somewhat.
A while back you posted some music by Airbag and I purchased all of their cd's. Love the music. After listening to them on screwtube it led me to Porcupine Tree and Pineapple Thief. Keep up the great posts of bands I never knew existed and wondering how much more great music I'm missing.
Try some of these - Riverside, Eloy, Amorphis, Nightwish, Katatonia, Lunatic Soul. And if you want to REALLY get out there, give Ozric Tentacles a listen.
