Wuhan Virus "Imma fukshit up"..Yellowstone Super Volcano.."Here, Hold My Beer"

Huge chunk of Yellowstone National Park, the size of Chicago, is 'breathing' in and out due to magma trapped underneath the surface

  • An area at the center of the Norris Geyser Basin was found to inflate and deflate
  • Experts have determined a intrusion of magma under the surface is to blame
  • Magma became trapped at the top and pushed the rocks up above it
  • The magma has since receded, putting the pulsating on pause for now

An area the size of Chicago in Yellowstone National Park has been inflating and deflating by several inches over the past decade
The Norris Geyser Basin, the oldest, hottest and most dynamic thermal area in the park, was observed to rise 5.9 inches each year from 2013 to 2015 - an unusual event that left researchers baffled.
Now, using satellite radar and GPS data, experts have determined the ground deformation was caused by magma intrusions trapped below the basin's surface.
As magma made its way to the surface, the pressure pushed rocks above it up and created an erratic pulsating effect, according to National Geographic.

 From 2007:

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus as an Agent of Emerging and Reemerging Infection

Money quote:

SHOULD WE BE READY FOR THE REEMERGENCE OF SARS?

The medical and scientific community demonstrated marvelous efforts in the understanding and control of SARS within a short time, as evident by over 4,000 publications available online. Despite these achievements, gaps still exist in terms of the molecular basis of the physical stability and transmissibility of this virus, the molecular and immunological basis of disease pathogenesis in humans, screening tests for early or cryptic SARS cases, foolproof infection control procedures for patient care, effective antivirals or antiviral combinations, the usefulness of immunomodulatory agents for late presenters, an effective vaccine with no immune enhancement, and the immediate animal host that transmitted the virus to caged civets in the market at the beginning of the epidemic. Coronaviruses are well known to undergo genetic recombination (), which may lead to new genotypes and outbreaks. The presence of a large reservoir of SARS-CoV-like viruses in horseshoe bats, together with the culture of eating exotic mammals in southern China, is a time bomb. The possibility of the reemergence of SARS and other novel viruses from animals or laboratories and therefore the need for preparedness should not be ignored.

 Title of post:
The Lyrics are from White, Discussion by Live

According to lead singer Ed Kowalczyk, the song is about "the end of the world". The discussion that takes place in "White, Discussion", is about people standing around talking about what needs to be done but taking no action. Too busy arguing amongst themselves, they ignore all the saints, prophets and warriors, and are oblivious to the real battle going on, and by the time they notice, it's too late. [4]
The snippet of "I warned you, I prepared you, I instructed you, I told you what to expect." was recorded by the band while driving around in Denver before the release of Throwing Copper. According to Kowalczyk, they heard this crazy guy on the radio talking about the end of the world, and felt that it fit the song's theme, so they recorded it and added it into the song right before the album was to be pressed.

Ventilator Hack... Improvise Adapt And Overcome...

Sent in by reader Bob  THANKS!

Planning for 'worst-case scenario' by expanding desperately needed ventilators

A hack used by a physician during the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting could become a game-changer in the battle against COVID-19 as a looming shortage of ventilators threatens.
An Eastern Ontario anesthetist has tested the modification, which could double or quadruple the capacity of scarce ventilators during a growing COVID-19 pandemic.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey shuts down practically everything in Alabama (even the beaches on the Gulf Coast) that her office has deemed "non-essential" as have many other mayors and governors in cities and states across the nation. Do you believe such measures right or wrong?

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WBRC) - Governor Kay Ivey has issued a statewide health order that includes new drastic measures to stop the thread of the coronavirus.
Hers is the email her office sent:
Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) on Thursday issued a statewide health order to aid in Alabama’s efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).Statewide through April 5:
  • All gatherings of 25 persons or more, or gatherings of any size that cannot maintain a consistent six-foot distance between persons, are prohibited. This Order shall apply to all gatherings, events or activities that bring 25 or more persons in a single room or single space at the same time.
  • Any restaurant, bar, brewery or similar establishments shall not permit on-premise consumption of food or drink. Governor Ivey continues to encourage patrons to visit their local eateries for take-out or delivery provided the social distancing protocols include maintaining a consistent six-foot distance between persons are followed.
  • All beaches will be closed effective today at 5:00 p.m. For clarification, the term “beach” means the sandy shoreline area abutting the Gulf of Mexico, whether privately or publicly owned, including beach access points.
  • Preschools and childcare centers will be closed effective at close of school or business today. This shall not apply to licensed childcare centers that provide services exclusively to employees with: State and Local Governments, First Responders (including EMS and Fire Services), Law Enforcement, Hospitals, Nursing Home/Long Term Care Facilities (including Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities), End Stage Renal Disease Treatment Centers, Pharmacies and grocery stores.
  • Effective immediately, all Hospitals and Nursing Home/Long Term Care Facilities (including Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities) shall prohibit visitation of all visitors and non-essential health care personnel, except for certain compassionate care situations such as maternity and end-of-life.
  • All elective dental and medical procedures shall be delayed, effective immediately.
Governor Kay Ivey: “Despite our best efforts, the threat of the Covid-19 virus continues to spread and, unfortunately, we have not yet reached peak impact. The decision to place regulations upon Alabamians living in Jefferson County and its surrounding counties was an effort to contain the area in which the virus has been prevalent in our state.“As of this morning, 68 individuals have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Alabama. While I am pleased that many of our citizens are self-regulating and are practicing social distancing, we want to ensure that Alabama is doing our part to flatten the curve.“Closing Alabama beaches is not a simple decision but one that I came to with the consultation of our elected officials along the coast and members of my administration. After many rounds of conversations with local leaders, in which we discussed several options, I have decided to close beach access in any form. Since we do not want to promote social gatherings, keeping the beaches open sends the wrong message to the public. At this moment, the safety and wellbeing of Alabamians is paramount.
“In addition, we rely heavily upon our first responders and critical healthcare workers to help those who are ill, as well as essential state government employees to keep the continuity of government, and many of them struggle with dependent childcare if daycares close. As a result, I have asked the Alabama Department of Human Resources and the Alabama Department of Public Health to explore emergency rulemaking to make critical exemptions to allow for daycare to be provided for these areas of crucial personnel.“My administration – and all the services of state government – are going to be as flexible as humanly possible to help make your government work for you during the coming days and weeks. I want to the thank the people of our great state for their continued patience and for taking great care of themselves and each other during this pandemic.”UPDATE: “ADPH is working to provide clarifying information in regards to today’s order, particularly the provision on social gatherings and its applicability to employers. Further clarification will be provided on Friday March 20, 2020.”
State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris: “We understand that the health orders issued will be a hardship on Alabamians. We must, first and foremost, protect the health and safety of our citizens. This decision has not been made lightly and will help to prevent the spread of this virus.”Harris said, “We’re all stressed about getting enough materials to conduct the COVID19 tests, there are shortages nationally, we haven’t had any yet here, but are concerned that could happen. We’re trying to get some leverage for supplying Alabama.”
Harris went on to say they have more testing sites ready to go but don’t have the supplies yet to do that.
Former State Health Officer Dr. Don Williamson says the state of Alabama has 1344 ventilators, on average day about 550 are in use, and we have surge capacity of 800.

A. Butt Pirates B. Profiteers C. Assholes D. All of the Above

I know many on here reading this "washed your hands" of the Cheaper Than Dirt gang when they posted jacked-up ass-rape prices immediately after the Sandy Hook _______________. They used that ______________as an excuse to price gouge folks, particularly in the areas of ammunition, magazines, and firearms. Now, they have done it again. As a few examples, 7.62X39 steel case Russian ammo is almost a dollar a round with a case costing $971 plus S&H. 9mm FMJ 115 grain American Express $1.16 per round plus S&H. Winchester .32 acp is a dollar per round for ball ammunition. This is preposterous. Below are some more examples. Show them how much you approve of their unethical practices by dropping them a line and/or "voting" with your wallet. There is still ammo out there at decent prices, but I know the smart readers who stop by here are already well provisioned in this category.

At this point, I am still working so I'm off to the salt mine. I figured some of you might enjoy scrolling through this and dissecting it a bit more.

I Started here at IOTWreport  >>  WHO DIRECTOR OVERSTATED FATALITY

Ok, that's interesting  followed the link to GWP<<

Then back to IOTWreport and the 3rd comment:

i do not know sample size

president of italian higher institute of health says maybe 2 deceased patients have died of covid-2.
[snip1]
“There may be only two people who died from coronavirus in Italy, who did not present other pathologies.”
[snip2]
‘Positive deceased patients have an average of over 80 years – 80.3 to be exact…The majority of these people are carriers of chronic diseases. Only two people were not presently carriers of [other non-COV] diseases’, but even in these two cases, the examination of the files is not concluded and therefore, causes of death different from Covid-19 could emerge.

Ok, that's interesting where does that link go?

 HERE<<

Seems the president of the Italian Higher Institute has some smarts. He understands that people who already have other serious health conditions, which have nothing to do with COV, can and do die from those other conditions, regardless of the fact that they’ve tested positive (on useless tests) for COV. He gets it. I predict a great future for him. If he keeps shooting his mouth off, he might find himself working as a weed puller in a forest. Or he might suddenly be diagnosed with the virus and find himself in isolation.
Grit your teeth and plow through this piece from Rome, 13 March 2020, Agenzia Nova: “Coronavirus: ISS [Italian National Institute of Health]: in Italy there are only two deaths ascertained so far due to Covid-19” (Italian, English)
“There may be only two people who died from coronavirus in Italy, who did not present other pathologies. This is what emerges from the medical records examined so far by the Higher Institute of Health, according to what was reported by the President of the Institute [Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), Italian National Institute of Health], Silvio Brusaferro, during the press conference held today at the Civil Protection in Rome. The president of the ISS has specified that ‘little more than a hundred medical records’ have so far come from hospitals throughout Italy.”

Okay, now lets see what's in the comments there ......   I scroll though those comments to this one:

 Jane Smith says:
Jon,
There is a huge piece of this that you and your readers need to understand, and that is the financial motivation for this “pandemic.”
Under our noses, the powers that shouldn’t be have been building a policy and financial infrastructure to implement “pay for success” bonds.
The idea of these bonds is that you take a social or health problem – I’m an educator, so lets use third grade reading as an example – and the lenders (Goldman Sachs for example) say: “Okay, we will loan you x million of dollars to get your kids reading at a third grade level. If they do, then we’ve saved you xx million dollars in special ed costs and everything else you would have had to spend because of these non-reading misfits, so you now need to pay us back what we loaned you plus interest.”
Then they take those loans, bundle them up into asset-backed securities, and trade them around like they did with mortgages.
HUGE MONEY. UNTHINKABLY HUGE.
So how does this connect to corona? Wel,l they want to offer these kinds of loans for any social ill (real or imagined) that they think will pay a dividend. And pandemics pay HUGE money in terms of projected value.
Here’s a quote from a white paper written Dr. Tom Frieden, who Bloomberg has tapped to run his Corona Virus Global Response Initiative:
“Unfortunately, preparedness, although more effective and less costly than response,5 rarely ranks high on political agendas. Competing priorities for finite national budgets, along with the invisible outcome of successful preparedness, have resulted in little funding, despite an estimated 25%–88% annual return on investment.”

(Note the date on this ^^^
Published online 2019 Aug 31)

Okay so what this means is that these billionaires are looking at the possibility of a pandemic and going “Okay, we can tell local governments that if we loan then x million of dollars, we will save them xx million in money they would have had to spend to deal with it. So we can expect a HUGE return on our investment. and then take that money, bundle it up into securities, and play with it.”
HUGE MONEY. HUGE.
Almost enough to justify a global pandemic scare like the one we are seeing now.
It’s all about money. All of it.
Spread the word.

What does it all mean???  You can decide. I just found it all very interesting.

Could Be Big News... "If" True...

Borrowed From Doug Ross @ journal

Coronavirus Australia: Queensland researchers find ‘cure’, want drug trial

Some patients who tested positive for coronavirus in Australia have already been treated with one of the drugs and “all did very, very well,” researchers say.

A team of Australian researchers say they’ve found a cure for the novel coronavirus and hope to have patients enrolled in a nationwide trial by the end of the month.
University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research director Professor David Paterson told news.com.au today they have seen two drugs used to treat other conditions wipe out the virus in test tubes.
He said one of the medications, given to some of the first people to test positive for COVID-19 in Australia, had already resulted in “disappearance of the virus” and complete recovery from the infection.
Prof Paterson, who is also an infectious disease physician at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, said it wasn’t a stretch to label the drugs “a treatment or a cure”.
“It’s a potentially effective treatment,” he said.
“Patients would end up with no viable coronavirus in their system at all after the end of therapy.”
The drugs are both already registered and available in Australia.

Granted, this Wuhan Virus fallout and true extent hasn't been tallied. Only history will look back and collate the numbers.

Stay safe.

Remember the H1N1 Pandemic? I Don’t Either

Although the racist-sounding “Wuhan virus” is now labeled as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, in America the real pandemic, more accurately described as pandemonium, is at the local supermarkets where store shelves resemble those in Venezuela.

America is in the grips of a panic the likes of which we haven’t seen before. What exactly is a pandemic, other than a scary sounding word from science fiction movies? According to WHO, “Pandemic refers to an epidemic that has spread over several countries or continents, usually affecting a large number of people.”
Per the Johns Hopkins dashboard, at the time of this writing, there are 147,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus spanning the globe, with 5500 deaths and 72.000 recoveries. Cases in China have leveled off over the past several weeks, suggesting that we in the U.S. may see the same over the upcoming weeks to months.
