  1. Obviously, the -17 was trimmed very well, and it was a long shot that it landed perfectly. As to the crew, well... strangeness. Aliens. Gotta be.

  2. This has all the hallmarks of PURE BULLSHIT!. No tail number of this mythical B-17, NO Squadron records or acft I.D., not one name of any crewmen, not one name of any ground pounders, NO squadron official reports, NO NOTHING!. Really?. PURE, 100% UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT!.

    1. Not "unaldulterated bullshit" since it's based on a real incident, but the tale grew in each retelling. The plane did have a tail number, but no name (it was a very, very newly delivered plane), it crash landed in a field near a British Army encampment (not an RAF base), the hatches were open, and no parachutes were on board.
