  3. I know Sheriff Ivey. One helluva good neighbor, citizen and LEO. Universally loved by residents of our county. Except criminals. They dislike him.

    1. Pray tell why Sheriff Ivey has not taken decisive action? Nearly 100 calls within one year is indicative of tolerance of criminal enterprise. The neighbors have become so frightened that they are starting to act. Is Sheriff Constipation waiting for a movement?

  4. I'm with Mike - I live in Brevard County. Sheriff Ivey came to my gun club to give a talk on how he was with us, he wanted arm citizens, he wanted people ready in case of some sort emergency, and generally just a talk with a lot of togetherness in it.

  5. YAWN

Why is the good Sheriff apparently unable to keep the arrested in custody? Are the courts part of the problem? Why are those arrested with past criminal sentences not sent off to the big house? Is the state DOJ part of the problem? What has the property not been condemned as a nuisance? Is the Public Health Dept part of the problem? Why has the Sheriff himself not recognized the full powers of his office? Is the Sheriff part of the problem? Why have the neighbors tolerated this ongoing criminal behavior? Is this not the 'Gunshine State' with a solid Castle Doctrine?

Serious questions but I am seriously laughing at this buffoon. Clay Higgins he is not.

    1. You'd be surprised at the rackets many DA's and Judges run, even the 'good' ones. My local sheriff was having a terrible problem keeping guys in county jail let alone sentenced. The DA and ADA would grabs any drug offender and get them to roll over on anyone and then plea down the time to a few months. They'd then do the same with the person they got new info on. The sole purpose was to drive up conviction rates. Check your own district court; see how many convictions there are by offense. Then look at the average sentence and compare it to what the law recommends. The DA's use this to catapult themselves to a judgeship, so heck yeah the judges are in on the game.

    2. Hm....lots of good depressor questions.....The neighbors aren't tolerating the behavior; they have called the police (like the law said they should) Be glad they haven't stormed this house and dragged the fools out and hung them from the lamp post. Blaming the sheriff for the problems of the DOJ or the DA or the judges is a straw mans argument. Looks to me like the sheriff is doing what he can in spite of perceived idjits in the offices of the judicial system.
This video is a complete "thinking outside of the box" exercise.....maybe it's needed in this case.

  6. Looks like Sheriff Ivey is taking some action to me and I'm all for it. Perhaps you're part of the problem.

  7. 100 calls to the house and they still in operation. I would say Sheriff you sound like political running for office.

  8. What exactly were the residents and visitors charged with, arrested for, and jail time if any?
If things are as bad as he and neighbors say, why does it go on?
Can the same thing be done at the residences of "bad apple" LEO'a and politicians?
