"Manual shift, I roll back at stops"= crappy driver. Have some pride,man! Learn to drive it properly: use the handbrake or heel and toe brake and gas. It's a skill.
My thing was to start, stop and shift more smoothly than an automatic. A girl of thr '60's, a driver of the '70's I could (and can) still do it. Have some pride, man!
Been driving manuals all my life. Never needed "roll back" space, even on hills. It's not an option off-roading, anyway. Must be his first 3-peddle car.
