Photo #5 is from the late 70's to maybe early 90's. Flat track 750 racer. XR750, I think. I'm not an HD expert, so that's as close as I can come to nailing it down.
You're right, thats the first of the XR750s when they were single carb and iron heads and barrels, basically a destroked Sportster, so about 1969/70. The picture above it is the Bosses looking at the first EL (Knucklehead) off the line, so about 1936.
My late uncle was a test rider for HD 'way back when. After competing in a dirt track race, HD would tear down the bike and examine it. He had to stop riding after having kids in order to assure domestic tranquility, i.e. his wife said he better or else.
