Yesterday we had a nor'easter come through the area with 1-2 inches of rain
and strong gusty winds. There were numerous reports of trees down, wires down and power
outages all around the county.
Rockingham Alert is a local page that posts emergencies and related info on a facebook and
twitter feed. It comes in handy during these times.

That doesn't say much for the local population.... sigh.
A few years ago, there was a story about wind farms having trouble getting access to land to route the power lines away from the wind mills to the power grid. The greenies didn’t realize the wind farms needed to be wired into the grid and were fighting it.
