I am from the Portland area. To think I was living there when it was called Portwierdo. It has always been a strange place. It doesn't surprise me they have a large antifa presence with Portland State and Lewis College very close, both bastions of liberal lefto weirdos. The city fathers have always tolerated the liberals and free thinkers and homeless there.
I lived in Albany while Adair Air Force Station was open (we left in '66). Portland was still a sane place. The SoCal refugees made a mess of Oregon when they brought their idiocy with them. That was the only place that felt like home to me. No more.
I remember the Black Panthers calling out the Klan in Greensboro, NC a couple decades back. The Klan obliged them and a few panthers paid with their lives. The Panthers later admitted they brought it on.
Antifa is seeking this sort of brawl, and the Portland City Admin is foolishly withdrawing Police protections from the opposition. They got what they came for, and they deserve that and more.
That fucking Commie bastard Mayor is going to wind up with Federal lawsuits on his hands if he doesn't get yanked out of office first. This bullshit has been going on every damn week for over a year. When those Antifa punks started blocking and directing traffic last week with the cops standing there with their thumbs in their asses just watching is when the the mask slipped. Somebody is going to get killed and then the Feds are going to step in.
The simple fact that antifa is masked and was caught carrying weapons tells you exactly why those 'counter protestors' showed up.
