One of the meteorologists I worked with at Boeing does storm chasing as a hobby.He kinda backed off a bit after a couple of his friends were killed testing their "Tornado Wagon" after it got picked up by a tornado and thrown a few hundred feet.Guess they needed more ballast.....
Been in two of them in Phoenix. All stop and wait 20 minutes.Mud drops as big as coasters on the windshield.New air filter for my truck is $125.00.

Hiway 27 between Lubbock & Amarillo is a good place to catch one of those - literally nowhere to hide.
