One was a red/white Bel Air two-door hardtop (like the first one in the video) and the other was a 210 post two-door. It was gray when I got it, but I had painted it black. Then I added multi-colored flames down the hood and front fenders. I still see one on the road every now and again and am reminded of my "Glory Days"
I had a navy blue '55 with a straight six. The previous owner had taken the "three on the tree" and put the gear shift on the floor where it belongs! I added some aluminum mag wheels. Great car! Can't remember why I ever sold it. Only real drawback on that car I remember was the vacuum wipers. I remember passing a big rig on the highway one very rainy night, getting hit by the spray from the big rig's tires as I passed and having the wipers stop as I hit the gas to accelerate around it! Good times!
