Is that a replica of the abandoned bus that damn fool kid tried to survive in up in Alaska? As I recall he poisoned himself because he had not the slightest inkling of what he could eat or not eat. "Into the wild." or something like that.
I think he just starved to death. I don't think he poisoned himself. That was in the movie. I guess it looks better if he was mistaken instead of just stupid.
The guy is Martin Heukeshoven and that is his scale model Citroën bus.
According to amusingplanet.com "...Heukeshoven doesn’t build more than 2 or 3 cars per year and each piece takes up to 4 months to complete. Today he receives orders from all over the world and his pieces are worth 25 thousand euros each..."
