That's backwards. Capitalism has found a way to MANDATE the purchase of products and services. Socialism (as Marx envisioned it, and he saw Russia as too backward, and would never have called 'The Soviet Union' Socialist/Communist)is more about People Rule, and individuals don't cultivate those sorts of concepts, to force people to buy what they've made. THAT'S pure capitalism.
