Homeless Dog Becomes A Lion Part II (well kind of)

Irish's recent post regarding a dog reminded me of an old Jerry Clower story about Newgene Ledbetter ("the lyingest boy what ever lived") and a Collie dog that got a haircut. Enjoy.

    I met him in '78. He was a riot. Mustard-sardines was my favorite.

      Where'd you meet him?
      After a performance?
      Was he one of those cool comedians that hung around after to meet and chat with fans?
