Mississippi's Governor Names April "Confederate Heritage Month"


“Gov. Bryant believes Mississippi’s history deserves study and reflection, no matter how unpleasant or complicated parts of it may be,” Chandler said. “Like the proclamation says, gaining insight from our mistakes and successes will help us move forward.”

    He says "Gaining insights from our 'MISTAKES' and successes will help us move forward!" Trouble is, these "Mistakes" and "Successes" are only "Value Judgements" and will be interpreted "Differently" by both sides involved!!!!!!

  2. The comments on that Blaze article were unbelievable. Don't people know history? The war was not fought over damn slavery. It was fought over for financial and land control of the Southern states by the North.

Exactly Chickenmom!In this day and age of political correctness gone batshit crazy it seems that every type of bizarre, made-up, fairy tale can be told unless it involves early American white Christian folks. When I was younger there was a guy who made some great Southern Nationalist Tee shirts. I had one that had an image of the 1st National Flag of the Confederacy and a Southron Cavalier "Jeb Stuart" type trooper kneeling. The caption read, "Force may crush and overwhelm truth to the ground, but crushed or not, truth is still truth".
