When the character of Brad Hamilton used that line in the 1982 movie, "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", the contents of the attached article was not what he had in mind. However, those words are very applicable to Americans today in regards to owning, carrying, and using firearms. Unlike the French, Americans have the "right to keep and bear arms". The attack in Paris should have turned out very differently if only a few of the victims had of owned, been carrying, and had been properly trained in the use of firearms. So, please if you do not own a gun, buy one. If you own  a gun and are not familiar with it, learn to use it properly and carry it daily. Do not live in fear. Do not be a victim. In this day and age  we are all on the front lines. Be prepared to defend yourselves and others from not just potential terrorists, but from anyone who attempts to harm you or your loved ones.
