Oh Heck Yeah! A live concert and excellent execution! Probably most folks there didn't appreciate it that much. I know, I was at the 'Wings over America' concert at the Cow Palace in SF in '76. Like Arlo said about Woodstock, "I remember getting there".
It was well executed. While I always enjoy Lynyrd Skynryd, I like Waylon's version better, though they sound much the same. This 'Live" album upon being released quickly went to number 1. I am not sure what Jimmie Rodgers would think about these versions of his song by the southern rockers and a former Cricket. RIP Waylon! https://youtu.be/vD44jYGOWJs
