Airport was filmed here in Mn winter of 1968. If I am right on the date. The 707 was leased from Flying Tiger Cargo, (Now part of Fedex). Many of the extras are airport/airline employees who worked at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The hanger used in the film belong to Northwest,(now apart of Delta) Those hangers have now been torn down for terminal expansion.
