I got to see them live, back stage, for free one time. I was working at an equipment rental outfit and one of their brighter roadies put fifty gallons of diesel in the hydraulic tank on one of our forklifts the day before the show. Not only did I finagle a back stage pass, I got to drink free beer and saw a great show. I even managed to get a monogrammed Godsmack drumstick from the drummer. System of a Down was there and a few other bands too. Bullshitted with the drummer from System, I think the poor guy thought I was in the recording business. ;)
