That was pretty cool! Wish I could have done that with my twin Chevy 350 rebuilds for my old boat. Now ya got me itchin' for some torque wrenchin' : )
Yep, that was a good one! And 'spare' parts usually exist... :-)
But if it works then the parts are not extra or spare - they're just 'mystery' parts!Not being all that mechanically apt, I'd have painted the parts before I put it back together.
Ahhh....a good old 3 main-bearing British Leyland engine.Looks like it went back in a Spitfire.
