New Blogger Setting Seems To Work For Commets....

Okay, I tried this new setting and it appears to work for follow - up comments.

Let me know if you try this and have luck.

Pretty much all the other bloggers I have contact with have the same issue. And Blogger isn't being very helpful in answering our questions. As usual. Nor did they even inform anyone of the new comment format.
The only way you can now get follow up comments, is to change your settings in the comment part of your dashboard.
Follow these steps..

To retain the e-mail notification, follow these steps in this order from your Blogger Dashboard:
 Blogger > Settings > Comments > Comment Form Placement > Embedded below post

Then remember to click “SAVE SETTINGS” at the bottom!

Instead of a little box to tick, you’ll now see the words “Subscribe by email” under your comments box. Your readers can click on “Subscribe by email” if they want follow-up comments to appear in their email inboxes

    The obvious thing is you get to choose to have the comments embedded on the page for YOUR blog.

    I really prefer the comment window. And so do others.

    I can't believe that Google only has one overworked programmer, so I would guess it is deliberate.

    Hi North, I will try this for a while and see what happens. I wasn't getting any emails on follow ups.

    It works great and it is easy to set up. It is much much better than the blogger comment box.

    Go to http://conservativeblogscentral.blogspot.com/ and play with it if you want.

    I think I will try this for a bit and see how it goes.

    conservativeBC... I'll come over and check out disqus, I know the local rags use
    it for their commenting systems.
