We had a Weimar in my late teens. Came from a long line of show dog champions. I trained that damn dog for show, and as a retriever. He was nigh a year old on the first hunt at the goose lease. that looks an awful lot like him running through the rice stalks the second he was released from the Blazer. took me a while to catch him. No hunt that day. Back to training.
