Caleb Hepler, the assistant editor at Whitehouse Post, edited the classic 1975 thriller Jaws and turned it into Shark Song, a heartwarming Disney film about “a curious shark with a curious talent”. Caleb won the Grand Prize for Shark Song at Camp Kuleshov, a trailer-editing competition between assistant editors.
Blasphemy! I first saw Jaws as a tot at a drive-in in the back of a 1977 Dodge Club Cab. I loooooove that movie, and to this day I can still recite Quint's speech in a very good impersonation.
