It wasn't a rule at our house, but simply by chance, my family hardly ever watched anything where the laughter was dubbed in by the social engineers attempting to program our brains as to what was "funny". I never watched or got into the Archie Bunker thing until I was in my thirties (mid-1990s/reruns). I found myself agreeing with him more times than not (i.e. army passengers on planes to prevent skyjackings). I've got a friend who believes that the ridiculing of Archie and what he stood for by commie producers/writers/directors played a big part in the silent majority turning out and electing Ronald Reagan.
Lmfao 😆 😆 😆
ReplyDeleteNever appreciated Archie enough when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteRob Reiner on the other hand, I never liked his ass. Commie on the show and in real life.
