ReplyDeleteSad, and enlightening at the same time. Sad that they have such a poor sense of self awareness, and an entitlement complex. Enlightening because the more this behavior is seen, the more folks see it as the result of bad parenting and a failed educational system. At some point, someone tells them "no" and holds them to account. Patents and teachers have failed in that respect. Managers, supervisors, and coworkers are the next group to get the opportunity. It takes much longer than it should, but problem children eventually are weeded out in the workplace.

Exactly this. The biggest problem with all of these "protestors" is they've been molly coddled all their lives. They've never been told NO in no uncertain terms, been punished (spanked) by their parents for misbehaving or been punched in the face on the play ground when they pissed one of their classmates off.

If, as I suspect, he was running towards the cops to avoid getting beaten up in front of the police, the cops should have watched him get the shit beat out of him and either done nothing or laughed, then arrested him for theft. Oh, your honor the kid tripped over the sign he stole and did a glorious face plant on the pavement as he was being chased by someone that wanted to recover the sign.
