Ain’t This The Truth

  1. Melatonin dosage is age and size dependent and a weighted blanket makes a huge improvement!

  2. Last night I woke around 3:30AM to make my usual pee deposit. Couldn't get back to sleep despite taking a dose of melatonin. Then, of course, the sky starts to brighten around 5:00AM. That ends any attempt to regain sleep. Staggering through the day becomes routine as the sky brightens earlier and earlier.

  8. I use various essential oils in a diffuser in the evening to relax and clear the mind from the days bullshit and goodness knows there is plenty of that. Sometimes I add a 5mg melatonin but not very often. I sleep well, 7-8 hrs, maybe 90% of the time with exceptions being if I have a couple cocktails in the evening. Then not so much. My daughter takes half a THC gummy some nights and sleeps well with it.
    As they say, YMMV

  9. Pee breaks joint pain in shoulders elbows & sometimes wrists and of course all the regular back pain. If I aleep for up to 3 hrs in a row I feel blessed. Still happy to be alive at early 70s.

    1. You too - misery loves company, I guess. Pain usually wakes me up after 3-4 hours, usually my slightly broken back. I sleep (nap) a lot during the day to compensate.
