Me too and smoking cigarettes. I had a lot older brother and just used the I'll tell Dad if you don't let me have some too.it was a bluff. I wasn't a rat fink. I got caught dipping in 2nd grade. Back then smokeless tobacco didn't have an age limit
I can surely identify with this. I, too, thought of myself as an adult at 12 and couldn't understand why others couldn't accept that. I guess some things stay the same even after 60-some years later.
