Nope, Farrah may have been a solid 8 on most days, but she certainly could hit a 10 on her best. I say this even though I was more of a Jacquelyn Smith fan growing up.
Parent Ron Paul didn't give the toddler Rand Paul access to his wallet, credit cards, or keys; why then did Ron Paul change his mind and give adult Senator Rand Paul control of his wallet and call it "taxes"? Oops. Similarly, no man should give control of his wallet, paycheck, savings, real estate, children, etc. to a woman. "Marriage" is like "taxes", the reality doesn't match the sales pitch.
Even in her swimsuit poster every man and boy lusting after Charlie's Angels heyday of the late 70s I never really thought she was all that. Jaclyn Smith however. . .
Farrah was hot, plus she had some REAL pokies in her Playboy pictorial. But, in their day Sophia Loren and Lauren Bacall were, for all intents and purposes, 10's.
Doesn't look like classic Farah but still fun to look at. Jaclyn Smith was my favorite Angel, something about her demeanor was more interesting to this 15 year old. At least until Michelle Pfeiffer came along.
I turned down going out with Kate Jackson in 1980, sometimes I regret that decision, also when I was 4 years old I had my sisters ballet teachers daughter that I really liked, I got dragged to the practices and didn't like it, so Crystal would always take my hand and take me everywhere with her, she was the dance teachers daughter. When I was 7 I went to New York City and saw her dance with the Roquettes. Then my heart was broken for the first time when she was the centerfold in Oui Magazine, and even worse in playboy.
Ann Margaret, Sophia Lauren, Farrah Fawcett, Donna Mills, and Audrey Hepburn for the win. But I'm an older man now, the younger actresses all make me drool, Jaqueline Bissett in the movie "The Deep" had some tantalizing pokies. And there are women that are not Sizzling hot, then there are the ladies that have always been pretty, you would never call them beautiful, but 50 years later are still beautiful, an example would be Sissy Spacek, now I'm not sure about a lot of them some of them are Gorgeous and then turn pretty gruesome as they age. I had Farah with her orange one piece on with those gorgeous pokies hanging on the wall in my room when I was 16, I even remember when the Sears catalog went color and glossy, lol.
Hate to disagree with you there, and there are a million "10s" out there, but Barbara Eden is the only woman that goes to 11. Stunning when young, stunning in middle age, and still hot as an old lady.
We have different standards. I see her as maxing out at an 8.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're viewed as a 10.

DeleteWill she break your heart before or after she empties your banks accounts and retirement funds?
ReplyDeleteShe's an 11 and high dollar Maintenace.

ReplyDeleteFarrah Fawcett
DeleteI believe that is Farrah.
DeleteThat was one beautiful Texas girl.
ReplyDeleteYou may be right....but I don't think it is Farrah....No clue who.
ReplyDeleteIts Farrah
DeleteTry 2.
ReplyDelete"When The Scale Is Zero To Ten, an Eleven....." is a Ten that Swallows!
ReplyDeleteShe could have had any man she wanted , and she chose that scumbag Ryan O'Neal .
ReplyDeleteSophia Loren is a 12.
ReplyDeleteHer autobiography, filmed by Playboy, was the definitive Farah story, and wonderfully done. Quite a tribute to her beauty, grace, and down-home story.
ReplyDeleteEven in her swimsuit poster every man and boy lusting after Charlie's Angels heyday of the late 70s I never really thought she was all that. Jaclyn Smith however. . .
ReplyDeleteSame!
DeleteGina Lollobrigida is a TEN
ReplyDeleteNo accounting for taste. I'd give her a 7 based on that photo.
ReplyDeleteMeh, I'll still take the girl next door, Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) over the lot. Or, for drop dead gorgeous, Sophia.....va va voom!
ReplyDeleteTough crowd here today. 😀
ReplyDeleteIrish
Yep as if any of us had a chance back then or today.
DeleteFarrah was one hot woman, but I have to give Raquel Welch the nod for being the hottest female God ever created.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing Raquel on TV when I was 5. "Sexual orientation? Be honest." "Hetero."
DeleteWatch her on Mork and Mindy "Mork vs. the Necrotons". Rocky made Deborah Jo Fondren (Playmate of the Year) fade into the background...
DeleteI'm thinking Donna Mills from the early 1980's

ReplyDeleteI think most of you a-holes would rate your right hand as a 10.
ReplyDeleteMine always has a headache.
DeleteAt least Rosy Palm always puts out.

ReplyDeleteException that proves the rule: Have you seen Brigitte Bardot lately? Damn she 's aged like a fine cow pat.
DeleteShe is 88 years old, but she was a pretty woman way back. Julie Christy from "Dr Zhivago" was breathtaking.
DeletePlastic surgery is an immediate disqualification. Therefore her rating is 0.
