I know it isn't what we are normally accustomed too on Friday evenings, but with Irish down with the "korvid" I thought I'd throw a consolation post out there (yes, it is a repeat, but it is better than a poke in the eye)
Tres bien. If there was a person who shaped my idea of what women should look like it would be her. When I was a kid this was one of the few shows I could sit still long enough to watch the whole thing. Jeannie was exclusively the reason.
Thank you for the tag team help, on a FFF. It is never out of place to post the lovely and wonderful Barbara Eden. Always a plus for me, she entertained the military troops along with the legendary Bob Hope. My uncle was a lifer in the Army, and saw time in both Korea and Vietnam. He saw Bob Hope several times. He told me that after the show, Bob would sit around and tell dirty jokes to the troops for an hour or two, just because he really cared about them, not just for the cameras or for show. I always have extra love in my heart for beautiful women who also give to the military members of the nation. It makes them extra beautiful, inside and out.
My dentist's receptionist/office manager-a former dental hygenist-looked a lot like Ms Eden. There were times when they were short handed and she'd take an x-ray when needed. Was always worried that the film would have an image of my woodie-she was that good looking, sweet and friendly to boot. Then she got pg about 14 years after her first kiddo-she plumped up to the point you really had to feel sorry for her. She never lost her warm nature, just her knockout body.
Thank you, Sir.
ReplyDeleteNot my first TV crush, but one of my most enduring.
ReplyDeleteThank You.
ReplyDeleteI think Jeffery is in love with Barbra Eden.... I put up a parody post of FFF at Bustednuckles. Just to keep the FFF alive you understand.

DeleteAnd damn you for it, damn you, sir! And me with no harpoon!
I'm really not. She is almost always a hit with viewers though. You did a great job with your post Cederq. Thanks
DeleteAbsolutely nothing wrong with that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeffrey. Repeat or not, there's nothing like a Genie to bring a little magic to a Friday night.

Good Onya for picking up the slack Jefferey!

Thanks. I saw that and it was great!
DeleteBarbara Eden is always appropriate. Thanks for filling in!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, having to look at a repeat of Barbara Eden is just torture.
ReplyDeleteAmerica's Sweetheart, you betcha. Although there might maybe was a better choice for the part of Major Nelson:

I wonder whatever happened to that desk.
I anonymously agree with Anonymous. Jeanie is a babe.
ReplyDeleteAlways gets me rubbing my lamp......

ReplyDeleteThe classics never go out of style.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeffrey, as a Youth you and others probably had a wet dream of Jennie 😍
ReplyDeleteBRAVO
ReplyDeleteThank you
ReplyDeleteOk, pic #2 is literally Barbara's head photoshopped onto another woman's body. Why in hell would you need to do that?? Absolutely mental!!

I had never noticed, but I believe you are correct. I really don't know why anyone would feel the urge to do that.
DeleteI replaced that "tainted" image!
DeleteBarbara Eden...my 2nd TV girl crush, Yvonne Craig was my first; that Batgirl costume did something to 5 year old me.
