  3. The 1918 influenza pandemic was the most severe pandemic in recent history. It was caused by an H1N1 virus with genes of avian origin. Although there is not universal consensus regarding where the virus originated, it spread worldwide during 1918-1919. In the United States, it was first identified in military personnel in spring 1918. It is estimated that about 500 million people or one-third of the world’s population became infected with this virus. The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States.

I always wondered if it wasn't some type of biological warfare used in the last days of WW1.

Most influenzas seem to originate in Western China and the southern Asian countries below Western China. Most all. Plagues, Influenzas, the whole 9 yards. All from... Western China. Since at least the times of the Roman Empire, really once the Silk Road started western trade with China, plagues, flues and other bugs came pouring out of the western 'East' into the West. Over and over and over again.

Rumors, due to bad reporting by the Chinese at the time, seem to point to the 'Spanish Influenza' possibly originating in Western China around 1914-15, moving by current to the times transportation to Europe late in 1916 in Spain, moving to the trenches of WWI in 1916-17, hitting the general population explosively by 1918. Though, by 1918, it had already thrashed the English and French armies, the American Expeditionary Force in Europe and the US military here in the states, moving into surrounding civilian populations. By 1918, it literally exploded in cases and in overall exposure, as people ran in fear from it, spreading it.

Now look at the Novel Corona Virus of 2019. Started in... Western China. Not reported on by Chinese authorities until... way after it started. Started moving into other populations by the methods of transportation current to the times. Which means moving into non-Western China much faster than in 1914-15-16. And it is pretty sure that the Communist China government is hiding the actual sickness rates, numbers and deaths to both the rest of the world and to it's own citizens. Rumors and even news reports are coming out about rapid cremation of remains, cremated not listed directly as having Corona but dieing by Corona type secondary infections (pneumonia and such) even though the dead are 100% symptomatic of Corona.

Everything old is new again. Things just keep repeating.
