Link O'rama.... Keeping Tabs on Things.....
Compiled and submitted by AFOI...
AFOI adds:
"I've been thinking - always a dangerous thing! One of the reasons why I suspect even the GOP insiders dislike Trump so much is that they had a "gentleman's agreement" with the Left.
In exchange for being able to feed at the same trough, and get lauded by the press and invited to the "right" parties, they would put on a show of resistance to the Left's advances.
Thus, we get the oft-discussed "ratchet effect" where the Left pushes forward, the public
elects the GOP to resist, and while no further Leftward motion occurs, the ratchet never allows going back.
Trump, for all that he's "all over the place", threatens that agreement."

** Scary. And they apparently confiscate the property AND force the owner to pay for the necessary renovations.
Time, IMHO, to start voting "Unintended Consequences" style.

R.I.P. Powers Boothe
Though he played many different roles, the characters of Col. Andrew Tanner (1984 Red Dawn) and that of "Curly Bill" Brocious (Tombstone) are two of my favorites.
I Survived The Mother's Day Nor'easter 2017...
Thank God, when I was a youngster, I also survived the Blizzard of '78 Nor'easter.
It hardened be to this type of weather here in New England:
As you can see, I almost drowned. Almost.
Thanks to the weathermen talking about a Nor'easter for the weekend I was well prepared.
Up North they did get SNOW!! <<<
