We Can Only Hope

For those of you who are interested in machineguns, supressors, and short-barreled rifles and shotguns, this is a very informative article that offers some hope that the National Firearms Act could be possibly be headed for "extinction". The latest chapter in this constitutional abortion which began in 1934 recently occurred when Kansas state law was found to be in conflict with federal law. A military surplus store owner began to build and sell supressors believing he was legally operating according to his state's law. The article is long, but the author does a good job giving the history, revisions, and the possible outcome of this case which will more than likely end up before the U.S. Supreme Court. 3. The NFA is ripe for plucking and disposal. You cannot have the Heller and McDonald decisions and have the Federal NFA enforced, much less the State laws like Cali, NJ, CT MA, MD, etc...

THE NFA MUST be struck down! But, shucks. Thats gonna leave a bunch of ATF goons with not much to do.

    1. I agree Longbow. Those decisions cannot be enforced and especially when the regs are in conflict with state law. Our lawmakers have given too much power to .gov agencies such as the BATFE, EPA, IRS, BLM, etc. in the form of "administrative law" where there is little recourse for the citizenry. Regarding employment issues, there have been a lot of good folks who have lost jobs during the last eight years. Maybe Trump can find something for any "displaced" workers to do.
