THIS is why nothing ever changes in Washington D.C., and only continues to get worse... an interesting essay.

 I've snipped out a section:

The fly in the ointment of their globalist plans, has been the United States of America, which has been an economic powerhouse, due to manufacturing know-how, ingenuity, strong property rights and an economic system that fosters innovation.  As an added bonus, those same unruly Americans are armed to the teeth.  How does one bring down such a large stumbling-block to the well-laid globalist plans?
Corrupt their country, of course.  This has been done by corrupting the staunch property rights by eroding the rule of law, the work ethic of Americans in the schools, corrupting the parent-child relationship, and making the international trading laws such that the economy of the USA can be hollowed-out.  To further corrupt Americans, turn every possible group one against the next (think of hyphen use in how you identify yourself, while I am simply “American”), pit the poor against the rich, pit the right against the left, and militarize the police so that people are afraid to speak up, to stand for what’s right.

 Here          The ONE Mitigating Circumstance…

This is the author's disclaimer at the end of the article:

Please let me know your thoughts, on this…  I’m not a professional blogger, I just do this to hopefully put out useful information, and perhaps synthesize “the big picture” into something manageable, better understood, I guess you could say…  So I guess it’s my weird way of keeping my sanity, in an insane world.  If you have suggestions on what else I should study and write about, I’m open to your thoughts…  Capitalist Eric

Ya..This Sounds Like A Lot Of Fun...."Urban Beach Week"

Am I just getting old and cranky to not want to go enjoy a nice weekend vacation
in Miami?

Sun, sand, music and heightened security pretty much sums up Memorial Day Weekend on South Beach.

..... beefing up security as much as possible.

..... Cameras, both mobile and stationary, have been installed throughout the city.

..... three watch towers.

..... Roughly 400 officers per shift

.... 140-thousand dollar light tactical all-terrain vehicle, similar to the ones used in the military.

....  “A dark beach at night, I would compare it to a dark alley in a big city,” said the officer.

.... Police will use license plate readers on the causeways to quickly scan for stolen vehicles or owners with outstanding felony warrants.

..... In addition, a massive DUI checkpoint is planned for the MacArthur Causeway heading into the beach on Friday night.

A Book Goes Back To the Shelf, One Comes Off...... Mother's Milk..... Steamy G-nite

I gave up on TV awhile ago since everything on the boobtube sucks. That leaves plenty of time for reading some good books. I just finished Larry Correia's Monster Hunter Legion and it didn't disappoint at all ( just as good as the others imho).

I just cracked open The God of The Machine so I haven't really had a chance to get some time into turning the pages.

Mmmmmm.. my friend Geoff calls this "Mother's Milk"...

A one sentence forum post that appeared today in an Illinois Newspaper, "The Peoria Journal Star". It speaks volumes.

A teacher goes around her class.....

........ asking each of the kids what do they need
at home?

Joey says "A computer." The teacher replies, "That would be very useful."

Kimmy says "A new lawn mower." and gets a similar response.

Little Johnny pops up and says "At my house we don't need nothing!"

The teacher asks him to think again carefully, as everybody needs something.

Little Johnny replies, "No I'm sure. When Obama was re-elected, I remember my dad saying, 'Well, that's the last fucking thing we needed.'"

This Is Good... Carmina Burana lyrics competition winner - Ode to Sleep Deprived Parents

I found this at John's blog "THE REST OF ME"

In the tradition of Carlton's Big Beer Ad, we invited our Facebook fans to change the lyrics of the iconic opening chorus of Carmina Burana to whatever they liked, and we would get the fabulous Sydney Philharmonia Choirs to sing the winning entry. We received a huge number of entries about a range of topics. Matthew Hodge's entry, an Ode to Sleep Deprived Parents and was declared the winner!

Ohio valley mall security VS people taking pictures

During last week's accident in which a semi plunged into a ravine near the Ohio Valley Mall, a scuffle broke out between a mall security guard and a woman taking photos of the accident.
Mall Director of Corporate Communications, Joe Bell, told WTRF on Monday that the fight occurred on mall property and the security guard was doing her job and was explaining to the woman that no pictures were allowed on mall property when the fight broke out.
