  1. I thought maybe Canada?? Considering how much help we gave the Indonesians after the tsunami, they could at least offer.

  3. Canada has sent some Hydro crews to reconnect power lines and remove the trees that fell on the electrical lines.A decade ago Canada suffered from an ice storm that dropped a lot of power lines. It took several weeks to restore power and that was with the help of crews from New York utilities. There is similar co-operation when fighting forest fires.

  6. Remember obama already blew off a lot of foreign help that was offered during the gulf oil spill, no need for a second thumb in the eye.

  7. They are in doing that in Jersey as well. WHY? The way it should be is everyone pitches in until the devastation is fixed. This is why I dislike the unions. They have become obsolete and too political.
