Snyder's Of Hanover Are Liars....

The back of that bag says there are approximately 10 servings per container.

I counted 2.5.

Yes, they are that good.

Budget: What is the federal government’s most important function these days? Based on the Obama budget released today, it’s not defense, or roads, or education, or the environment. It’s cutting checks.

Buried deep in the president’s annual budget are a series of tables that few ever notice, but that are incredibly illuminating when it comes to understanding the size and scope of today’s federal government.

** Pardon the visual, but we could have Barackus and Hellary giving each other high-fives as they watched live feed of Benghazi, toasting

champagne and screaming "DIE YOU BASTARD STEPHENS!" and the majority of the Leftists would STILL vote "D".

Talk About Manual Labor..... Like Ants....

In the early 1980s, Brazilian photographer SebastiĆ£o Salgado travelled to the mines of Serra Pelada, some 430 kilometers south of the mouth of the Amazon River, where a notorious gold rush was in progress. A few years earlier, a child had found a 6-grams nugget of gold in the banks of a local river, triggering one of the biggest race for gold in modern history. Motivated by the dream of getting rich quickly, tens of thousands of miners descended into the site swarming like ants in the vast open-air pit they had carved into the landscape. Salgado took some of the most haunting pictures of the workers there, highlighting the hazardous conditions in which they worked and the sheer madness and chaos of the operation.

ROCKLAND, Mass. —

A South shore business owner tells FOX25 he was nearly hit by a front end loader dumping snow from the town on his private propery.
FOX25 Investigates’ Eric Rasmussen spoke with that man and got surveillance video of the whole altercation.
“He kept going towards me,” Ray Succar said.
The heavy machinery was carrying a full load of snow when it came within inches of hitting him.

For The Untimate Harley Fanatic.... Awesome , Smothered In Awesome Sauce....

A slight explanation, found via a reverse image-search:  A comment by 'Michael'- "This was initially built as "The Nine Wheel Harley Rig". It was built in the late 80′s by Kenneth Kilpatrick of Huntsville Alabama. I see from this photo It has since been modified to incorporate a second front wheel making it now ” The Ten Wheel Harley Rig “. The tractor is a modified Harley Davidson FLT. The interior of the trailer is nicely finished. Kenneth did receive license from HD to utilize their paint scheme and logo. I am told, at Harley Davidson’s expense, Kenneth has been able to show his rig in several countries around the world "

"God Bless America" Signs Fly In Midwestern Community After atheist Group Targets Post Office Banner

I do not understand the logic with these atheist groups. If they don't believe in God, then why do they care. I respect peoples first amendment right , but it should be a two-way street. I do not believe in the Easter bunny, but I am not offended by the public display of a bunny at Easter either. I am glad the community is fighting back. The sign had been up since September 11th, 2001. Click HERE for the entire story from FOX.

I can only imagine how "Gunnery Sgt. Hartman" would deal with these atheist folks. One of my favorite scenes from "Full Metal Jacket"

"I had to think about my DJs. I was always looking for long songs that were also good songs, so they could do what they had to do." Donna Halper

 ...and the rest is history.

Donna Halper wants to set the record straight. Yes, she gave Rush its big break when she was a disc jockey and music director at WMMS FM/100.7 in Cleveland. Contrary to popular belief, however, she did not cue up the band's seven-minute song "Working Man" because nature called.
"I didn't have to go to the restroom, OK?" Halper said.
When DJs needed a break, they would put on what was known as a "bathroom song," for obvious reasons.
"As the music director, whether I had to go or not wasn't the issue," Halper said during a phone interview.
"I had to think about my DJs. I was always looking for long songs that were also good songs, so they could do what they had to do."
The Boston native moved here to join WMMS in 1973. The following year, a friend sent her an import record by a Canadian group that she'd never heard of.

A rare Rush clip featuring the late John Rutsey on drums. Filmed in the spring of 1974. Rutsey was forced to leave the group later that year due to health reasons. His replacement was Neil Peart.

Fire Starting for Cooking and Warming, etc.

I was visiting Kenny's site, Knuckledraggin My Life Away, and there was an interesting topic about building fires for cooking, warming, etc., what people carried while hunting, camping, hiking, etc. to start fires Some of the comments were very interesting and informative. That conversation prompted me to post this simple "gasifier stove" that can be built for practically nothing, is light to carry and takes up little space in a pack. It eliminates the need to carry fuel as it is fueled by using dry twigs that can easily be found most anywhere in North America. It burns super hot and produces almost zero smoke. Here is the YouTube link.

By the way, for fire starting, I usually carry a disposable lighter in my pocket, waterproof matches in a match safe, and as a last resort, a magnesium fire starter in my pack. For cheats when in a hurry or in really wet conditions, I carry cottonballs lightly dipped in Vaseline, Esbit or Trioxane fuel tabs, or steel wool sandwiched between two pieces of duct tape. All work very well.
