  2. I can hear it now...
"Did you cut the lawn like I asked you?"
    "No"
"You never do what I ask. You only think of yourself. You were at the bar, weren't you?"
"Fine! I'll cut the fucking grass!"

  3. I have family in Pelham and Salem. Grew up in Methuen until 12. Born in Lawrence General, like Kerouac.

    2. Mt Vernon, OH. It's the other side of the Appalachians. Rolling hill country with mixed deciduous forest, mostly oak/maple. Small town. Farm country. Just as bad for farming as Robert Frost country, which it resembles, and very much like how Beverly St, Methuen, used to look when I was a boy there in the 50's.

We got a half inch of snow Saturday. My sister told me last night that Pelham got 6 in, so your picture needs updating.

I can recount the details of how I got from Methuen to Mt. Vernon, but I can't explain it.

    3. Sounds like a nice area. I'll google it later. When was the last time you were in Methuen?

It's gone down hill since the 50's ;-)

  4. Heh, that was almost me. I did use the lawnmower and the snow shovel this past weekend, but not on the same day...
