  4. This could easily be in the Idaho Sawtooth wilderness area, or in the White Cloud region.

  5. The painting is reminiscent of the style of Bierstadt. He painted many western scenes, including Yosemite and the Grand Tetons, with light being reflected off of clouds in this way. A lot of art critics, who never had set foot outside of New York and Boston ridiculed his work, claiming that light did not behave that way. If those no-talent hacks had ever visited the west, they would have found out that light, in fact, behaves exactly that way, when reflected between several towering thunderheads.
