A grim Ministry of Defense bulletin issued to Prime Minister Putin and President Medvedev today states that President Hu has “agreed in principal” that the only way to stop the West’s aggression led by the United States is through “direct and immediate military action” and that the Chinese leader has ordered his Naval Forces to “prepare for warfare.”

ReplyDeleteChina is seeing the beginnings of an internal rebellion (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/8951638/Chinese-police-besiege-town-and-cut-of-food-supplies-in-bid-to-quell-riots.html) due directly to the country's economic bubble and that country will divert by going to war.
China is heavily dependent on Iran's oil and has threatened to aid Iran in a military conflict (http://www.eutimes.net/2011/12/chinese-general-threatens-us-with-world-war-3-over-iran/) and Russia wants the maintain its last two middle east proxies (Iran and Syria).

Yes, the spectre of World War is now well and truly in the air. The vast majority hardly dare talk about it - But those terrible nuclear war-drums can definitely be heard by anyone with two ears stuck to their head!
